Aspettare un anno
Ho aspettato un anno preciso.
Non sapevo bene se ti avrei rivisto, ma mi sono preparato per l’occasione: nel silenzio, ripercorrendo con la mente il viaggio attorno al mondo e scrivendo la dedica del libro con le aste delle lettere particolarmente inclinate a sinistra per l’eccessiva timidezza.
Sarei rimasto in attesa per un altro anno.
In ogni caso mi sentivo pronto e lo ero quando ci siamo incontrati.
Non potevo mancare di un passo, non uno sguardo distratto, o pensieri turbati. Serenità e saggezza di chi sa che l’aspettare alla fine porta suoi frutti.
Eccola la ricompensa: il tempo dell’amato che non è andato perso foss’anche per un solo secondo, l’essenza integra e totalitaria.
Nulla di più se non un impercettibile segno ma impagabile. Per me.
